Consequences Always Follow
October 7th can’t be erased from history

The world never talks about how it all began — October 7th has been erased from the calendar. It’s an inconvenient date, because once you mention it, all the conspiracy theories about Israel fall apart, and the accusations against the only democracy in the Middle East can’t hold water.
No one wants to talk about consequences — consequences of Hamas’s actions. But Hamas itself is rarely mentioned aloud either, because to name it would mean placing the blame where it belongs.
And so, if you just remove that one uncomfortable variable from the equation, everything magically falls into place — just the way many would like it: Israel as the aggressor, and the civilians of Gaza as innocent victims. But is that really the case?
Consequences. One word — consequences. This is what Hamas did not consider when it invaded Israel on October 7th and orchestrated a death frenzy that took the lives of 1,200 people, including women and children. Did Hamas really think that Israel would leave the most horrific slaughter since the Holocaust unanswered and just accept it as a given? Did they truly believe they wouldn’t pay for their heinous crimes and that everything would remain as before — two decades of bloody terrorist attacks that took hundreds and hundreds of lives and missile strikes on peaceful Israeli cities?
Everything leading up to October 7th could not be called normal, but Israel endured, offered peaceful solutions, and continued to supply Gaza with food, essentials, water, electricity, provided urgent medical care (Israel’s top surgeons performed numerous life-saving operations for Palestinians), and created around 20,000 jobs in its territory. And in return for this, Hamas treacherously attacked Israel, killing indiscriminately in its path and took 253 hostages.
Consequences — that’s what it did not consider. Hamas counted on the support of the international community and the UN, which at some point would pressure Israel and force it to stop pursuing terrorists under plausible pretexts, using terms like “proportionality of response,” “humanitarian disaster,” “ceasefire” in the name of peace. However, Hamas underestimated the resolve of the Israeli people to never allow a repeat of October 7th, determined to fight to the victorious end to eliminate the threat to their existence.
If anyone thinks Hamas committed these atrocities for the good of its people, they should consider how much this corresponds to reality. Over twenty years of its existence, Hamas has dug several hundred kilometers of tunnels with hundreds of millions annually from around the world, increased its military potential to unprecedented levels (rockets, mortars, explosive devices, automatic weapons, grenade launchers), prepared an army of terrorists, and turned hospitals, schools, and mosques into command centers. And when it came to military confrontation with Israel, Hamas hid behind a human shield and took most of the humanitarian aid for itself. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar explicitly stated that he welcomes and counts on as many casualties among his people as possible because it will force Israel to leave Gaza under pressure from world powers and allow Hamas to remain in power in Gaza.
Consequences have never concerned Hamas, because its ideology involves the complete destruction of Israel without any compromise, and the lives of Palestinians are for it no more than a bargaining chip on the way to its goal.
In the end, Hamas leader Sinwar has been eliminated, along with most of the top leadership of the terrorist organization. Gaza lies in ruins, and the “Palestinians” haven’t come an inch closer to their goal — and let’s not fool ourselves, that goal was never about creating two states (something they’ve rejected eight times). “From the river to the sea” is the only thing that has ever mattered to them and still does. Hamas buys itself more time by leveraging the hostages it still holds, clearly failing to grasp that it won’t be allowed to stay in power, and continues to bolster its numbers while it still can.
Why doesn’t the Palestinian people stop it? Isn’t it because Hamas is their own creation, one they can’t abandon? Consequences — every action and choice has them. The Palestinians keep choosing Hamas, and they’ll have to pay for that choice, because Israel won’t stand by as this terrorist hydra regrows its heads.
Let’s go back to the beginning. Does the world actually care about the truth? My answer: for the most part — no. Because if it did, there’d be no way to justify the rampant antisemitism we’re now witnessing.
That’s exactly why the leading media outlets still cite, in every single broadcast, the Gaza Ministry of Health — which (drumroll) is controlled by Hamas. Its figures are treated as unquestionable facts. Reporters pile on the emotional tone, strike just the right tragic chord — and point their fingers.
Who would’ve thought? Turns out it’s all Israel’s fault again. Its greatest crime? Simply existing — in defiance of those who wish to see the Jewish people gone.
And that alone drives them mad. So mad, in fact, that they’re willing to twist facts, rewrite history (since October 7th, over 850,000 edits have been made on Wikipedia, changing 10,500 articles — all aimed at delegitimizing Israel), and invent ever more “narratives” to suit their goal.
But there’s one thing everyone would do well to remember —
Consequences.
Every action has consequences —
and those consequences won’t be to the liking of those who don’t know when to stop.

There is a double moral in the world.
People calling for an end to the war,an end to Gazans’ suffering, without even mentioning the inhumane conditions and sick evil torture hostages have been enduring for almost two years.
All political leaders who accuse Israel hold a double moral and standard, in which they pretend to be blind to the atrocities committed by Hamas and blame Israel solely for the war and destruction that has come upon Gaza infrastructure.
When will Justice be served ?
Hamas wiped out completely.
As long as the UN and the international community continue backing, funding, and promoting what they affirm is an “ethical” terrorism, justified in their own eyes, by the hypocrisy of many who play as the devil’s advocate, the war will find no end.
Well it's not much, I am just one British person, but I have never stopped thinking about and talking about the atrocities of October 7th, and I consider that the war in Gaza is the direct consequence of what the Gazans chose to do that day, and have chosen every day since, while they still hold innocent people hostage. I find it very easy to stand with Israel on this.
